The Brandon Aquatic Center was alive on the first of October.
Starting from the first relay, this was a brawl that the BAC hasn’t seen in a long time. Once again the relay squad of Misenar, R. Sterner, Jaworowski, and Griffin led the way with new best times as a group, including a blisteringly fast 1:56.32 in their 200 Freestyle Relay.
Brandon Senior Captain Rachael Griffin posted new best times in the 50 (28.90) and 100 (1:03.93) Freestyle races.
Brandon Junior Captain Maddie Misenar joined her with a new best time in the 50 of 28.87 and a season best in the 100 Backstroke (1:17.77).
Brandon Junior Helene Jaworowski crushed the field in the 200 Free, finishing first with a 16 second difference between her and second place.
Goodrich Sophmore Diver Macy Polasek followed up her strong meet on Tuesday with another uncontested victory in the 1 meter dive.
Brandon Freshman Grace Hylton fought back in the 500 to steal second place.
Goodrich Sophmore Andie Stewart and Brandon Junior Luz Medina finished third and fourth with new season bests.
The Warhawks go into a bye week, but will come out of it with a rematch at Holy’s newly renovated natatorium on October 12th.
