Blackhawks News · New Spectator Limitations – Effective October 9th, 2020


Monday October 5th, 2020:

The MHSAA released their guidance on the recent Executive Order 183 as it pertains to increased gathering numbers for indoor and outdoor events.  Please click on MHSAA Fall Update #11 to read the full details.

We are excited to include our Marching Band, Poms team and some additional spectators at Home Varsity Football games starting this Friday, October 9th!  Tickets will still be issued ahead of time.  There will be NO tickets issued at the gate.  Only those with a ticket will be permitted to enter the stadium or gymnasium.  

Here will be the new ticketing procedures for our Fall events starting on Friday October 9th; please note these are all based on the fixed seating capacity (20% for indoor and 30% for outdoor) and are subject to change depending on our opponent or host site:

Home Varsity Football – 1,000 max capacity

  • Brandon Football players & coaches, Cheerleaders & coaches, Poms members & coach, along with Marching Band members and Director(s) will each receive 3 tickets to give to guests.
  • Opposing schools will receive 3 tickets per Football player/coach and cheerleaders/coach. 
  • Remaining tickets will be distributed to the Brandon High School student body, starting with the Senior Class, then Juniors, and so on…  Remaining tickets will vary each week depending on our opponent, therefore there is No guarantee that all students will receive a ticket.
  • **This does not include AWAY contests or MHSAA Postseason Tournaments.

Home JV-Varsity Soccer– 126 max capacity

  • Brandon JV and Varsity Soccer players & coaches will receive 2 tickets each to give to guests.
  • Opposing schools will receive 2 tickets per soccer player/coach.
  • *There will not be additional tickets at this time due to the seating capacity restrictions.
  • **This does not include AWAY contests or MHSAA Postseason Tournaments.

Home FR-JV-Varsity Volleyball – 400 max capacity

  • Brandon FR, JV, and Varsity players & coaches will each receive 4 tickets to give to guests.
  • Opposing schools will receive 4 tickets per volleyball player/coach.
  • Remaining tickets will be distributed to the Brandon High School student body, starting with the Senior class.
  • **This does not include AWAY contests or MHSAA Postseason Tournaments.

Home Swim & Dive Meets – 86 max capacity

  • Brandon-Goodrich Swim & Dive athletes & coaches will receive 2 tickets each to give to guests.
  • Opposing schools will receive 2 tickets per swim athlete/coach.
  • *There will not be additional tickets at this time due to the seating capacity restrictions.
  • **This does not include AWAY contests or MHSAA Postseason Tournaments.

We look forward to having more spectators at our events, but we are also keeping the safety of our players and coaches at the forefront.  Spectators will be required to wear masks or face coverings and social distance at all times while attending events.  Spectators will NOT be allowed onto the field or court at the conclusion of contests.  We ask that all spectators meet their athlete(s) outside the ticketing areas after each contest.
