Game Recap

The Lady Blackhawks were shorthanded on Tuesday night as they traveled to Swartz Creek without two players who were out due to illness. Despite missing their teammates, Brandon battled Swartz Creek in a physical game that saw the Dragons attempt 29 free throws and the Hawks only 9. Though their effort was strong, Brandon was not able to overcome the various obstacles presented on the night and fell by the final score of 42-34. Shawntae Jackson had a fine game filling in at the PG spot and contributing 7 points, while Rachel Hendershott and Elayna Saint Amour held their own in the post contributing 8 points apiece. Next up for the Blackhawks is 6:00 P.M. match up with Kearsley High School this Friday in the team’s final home game of the season.
